The building was designed to keep pace with the sector’s requirements and was equipped with the latest international technologies and specifications to be an attractive destination for residents and visitors of the Holy City of Makkah.
It is a promising business forum and an ancient merchants’ house that was founded in 1948 AD, with the support of His Majesty King Abdulaziz – may God rest his soul – out of his belief in the importance of supporting everyone who would organize economic life in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In 1947 AD, Shura Council Resolution No. (259) was issued nominating Members of the Board of Directors of the Makkah Chamber, after which royal approval was issued for the decision of the Shura Council in 1948 AD, where a. Siraj Buqari, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Makkah Chamber, and Mr. Abdullah Bahamdeen, second president.
